Dear Friends and Fellow Lions,
As I begin my term as District Governor of Lions District 128 Israel, I do so with deep excitement and a strong sense of mission.
It is a great honor and a rare opportunity to lead a district rich in good people,
meaningful action, and a proud tradition of volunteerism and giving to the community.
This year, I place at the heart of our vision the inclusion of people with disabilities.
We will focus on developing impactful community initiatives – not only for them,
but together with them – recognizing the importance of inclusion, integration, and respect for every individual.
To achieve our goals, we must act as one – all cabinet members, club presidents, and Lions across the district.
Together – we can do anything.

Lions Israel Goals for 2025-2026
- Establishing new clubs tailored to community needs
- Preserving and strengthening existing clubs
- Recruiting new members and reducing the average age
- Organizing engaging and meaningful events for all members – and for special populations, especially the blind community.
- Enhancing the organization’s public image and amplifying our activities to the wider public
- Nurturing the legacy and guiding values of our organization
- Preparing a five-year strategic plan to ensure continuity and growth
- Enabling every Lion, male or female, to run for various roles and express their talents and contributions
- Strengthening social connections between clubs and the district panel, and among clubs themselves
- Adopting international goals for implementation: fighting diabetes, environmental quality improvement
- Strengthening the connection between Lions clubs and local authorities
I wish us all a year full of fruitful action, cooperation, brotherhood, and love of humanity.
Warm regards,
Lion Oz Azrieli
District Governor, District 128, Lions Israel
