Samson Zelbiger was born in China in 1941. Immigrated to Israel in 1949 to the city of Tel Aviv where he studied
the insurance profession in which he still practices today. Samson is married to Ilana. For a couple three
sons and seven grandchildren. They started their journey in the city of Petach Tikva, and then moved on
To Hod Hasharon.
Shimshon was recruited to the Israel Lions in 1978, by Netzelash Moshe Herzog, in his office

After the end of his term as commissioner, Shimshon continued his activity at the parent club in Petah Tikva.
For over 20 years, Shimshon served as chairman of the club’s events committee.

As a district commissioner who grew up in the field, Samson was known to all members of the Lions.

Hello Petah-Tikvah and Abuka Petah-Tikvah. Clubs whose operation has ceased over the years:
